NEW YORK — Thomson Reuters announced today the winners of the inaugural Taxologist Awards, a program that recognizes outstanding tax departments and individuals who are driving significant value to their organizations by embracing tax technology.

The winners of the Taxologist Awards were announced at SYNERGY 2014 — a conference for users of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax technology — on Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C. Winners were presented a commemorative trophy and other prizes. The Taxologist of the Year winner, Sarah Gangar from CUNA Mutual, also received $10,000 to donate to the school of her choice to further technological initiatives.

Excellence in Tax Research

• Sheryl Paige, Tax Advisor, Pfizer
