Thomson Reuters Pricing Partners Receives Structured Products Asia Technology Innovation of the Year Award
London/Hong Kong – Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, today announced that its complex structured products and OTC derivatives pricing and analytics solution, Pricing Partners, has been named Technology Innovation Provider of the Year for Asia by Structured Products Magazine.
The Structured Products Technology Awards process is a widely respected industry award program, composed of a set of rigorous selection criteria and a full assessment of client testimonials. According to Structured Products editors, Thomson Reuters strong brand name, the extension of its modelling library and a new web services technology framework have all contributed to the company’s success in the technology innovation category.
“This award recognises the intelligence and hard work that have been put into Thomson Reuters independent evaluated pricing service, Thomson Reuters Pricing Service, which is a key area of growth,” said Marion Leslie, managing director of Pricing and Reference Services at Thomson Reuters. “We have focused on building out the necessary transparency information customers need to comply with regulations, as well as developing new intra-day timings for Asia and will continue to make this solution even stronger in the future.”
Thomson Reuters acquired Pricing Partners in June 2013 combining the industry-leading OTC derivatives position with the brand reputation, scale and broad capabilities of Thomson Reuters Pricing Services. Becoming part of Thomson Reuters marked an important milestone for Pricing Partners’ development. It has added new stochastic local volatility models and support for products such as exotic versions of target accrual redemption notes and target accrual redemption forward notes, as well as the Nelson-Siegel-Svensson model for estimating yield curves.
