Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Named Winner of the 2015 People’s Choice Stevie® Awards

NEW YORK – The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has been named a winner in the 2015 American Business Awards (ABA) People’s Choice Stevie Awards. 

Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Intuitive Search received top votes in the category of Content – Search Technology for its intuitive and user-friendly capabilities which have enhanced its search process with speed and accuracy. 

“With our recent introduction of Intuitive Search we have dramatically raised the bar for search efficiency for our customers,” said Steve Mendelsohn, managing director, Knowledge Solutions at Thomson Reuters.  “Intuitive Search is designed for user-friendliness underpinned by multi-layered search technology and editorial analysis that consistently prioritizes the most valuable results first, enabling customers to get the most relevant answers more quickly than ever before.”

Awards will be presented at the ABA’s New Product and Tech Awards banquet in San Francisco on September 11. 

The People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products are a feature of the ABA in which the general public can vote for their favorite new products and services of the year.  More than 16,000 votes were cast in 40 people’s choice categories this year.  All new products and services to be honored in the ABA’s new product categories were included in people’s choice voting.
