DEXTER, Mich. – Thomson Reuters highlighted recent enhancements to its UltraTax CS tax preparation software. These performance indicators reflect our commitment to providing the most complete, on-time, and e-file capable system available to tax practitioners today.

UltraTax CS included new features that were based on both user insights and the changing needs of the profession, providing practitioners with streamlined installation and seamless updates to guarantee that they meet new state and IRS requirements.

UltraTax CS also helped to advance the profession through collaboration with government, working directly with state tax departments to expand their e-filing capabilities. In addition, all UltraTax CS e-file systems were approved and published ahead of the agency activation date.

Users of Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS enjoyed the latest customer-suggested enhancements, such as business organizers, maximum filing capabilities, e-signatures, more than 50 new calculating forms and worksheets, new 1120/1065/1040/1041 return types, client analysis reports, added electronic filing for 16 new states, and more, to help users meet their filing needs for even the most complicated situations.

The CS Professional Suite Ideas Communities are online communities that encourage customers to suggest ideas for new product features and enhancements. Community members vote for and comment on the ideas. There are currently seven product communities with over 10,000 active community members. Through the communities, over 5,000 ideas have been proposed, and over 1,100 have been directly implemented in Thomson Reuters product releases.
