Thomson Reuters ProView™ eReader Platform Version 2.2 Launched, New Global Markets Added

Award-winning professional eReader adds improved search and workflow integration; now available in South Korea, Mexico, Uruguay and Paraguay

NEW YORK – Thomson Reuters today announced that Thomson Reuters ProView, the leading professional eReader platform, has launched version 2.2 and expanded its global footprint by adding South Korea, Mexico, Uruguay and Paraguay as new ProView markets. ProView now includes many new features to streamline workflow – including enhanced search and filter – that help users get the most out of their ProView eBook and eReference subscription titles.

Thomson Reuters ProView is the first eReader platform specifically built for professional use, with advanced features such as full-text search, secured notes and highlights, and content updating. ProView leverages Thomson Reuters best-in-class content from across its global markets, providing a single, unique platform for professional eBooks. ProView recently received a top honor at the British Legal Awards for its broad appeal and usage. It is available for iPad® and Android™ tablets, and for Windows® and Mac® computers.

ProView titles were recently launched in South Korea, Mexico, Uruguay and Paraguay, expanding the platform’s global reach. ProView is now available in 17 countries including the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile. ProView ebooks are published in in five languages across four continents.

Thomson Reuters ProView now offers more ways to navigate, access, and share ProView eBook content. With version 2.2, ProView offers features such as:

  • Refined Search (Search-Within-Search)
    Search within the search results to pinpoint the precise information needed
  • Enhanced Library Search and Filter
    Seamlessly search through your entire eBook library with an expandable search pane and content filter options
  • Enhanced Search and Filter History
    Visual tags enable you to see which parameters you’ve used previously to search or filter content
  • Recent Activity Display
    A Recent Activity section at the top of the screen displays your six most recently accessed eBook titles
  • PDFs and Note Sharing with Annotations and Footnotes
    PDFs created from e-book text and notes created in ProView to share with colleagues now include annotations and footnotes for easy referencing
  • Title groupings
    Related sets of titles can be grouped together by publisher-defined groupings
  • Integrated Quick Tips
    Helpful tips, such as summary features and explanation of icons, are integrated into content for quick, easy help when and where you need it
