NEW YORK/LONDON - Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, has been voted best data provider and best multibank platform for FXall at the Profit & Loss’s Readers’ Choice FoXy Awards 2015. In addition, Jack Linker, Thomson Reuters Head of Liquidity Sales, Americas, was Readers’ Choice pick for the Profit & Loss Hall of Fame.

The Profit & Loss Readers’ Choice FoXy Awards are based on votes from Profit & Loss readers who represent active professionals in the world’s foreign exchange markets. The awards recognize both banking sector leaders and non-bank providers such as ECNs, interdealer brokers and market data vendors as well as individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the FX industry.

“Thomson Reuters has operated at the heart of the FX markets for over 30 years and its platforms are recognized as offering a unique breadth and depth of information and choice of liquidity sources across the market,” said Phil Weisberg, global head of FX at Thomson Reuters. “We are once again very proud to be recognized in this way by the readers of Profit & Loss. We will continue to innovate to help clients maximize performance at every stage of the trading lifecycle, including immediate, actionable market intelligence and robust, reliable transactions capabilities integrated into their unique workflow.”

“Huge kudos goes to Jack for his inauguration into the Profit & Loss Hall of Fame, for which he should be immensely proud,” continues Weisberg. “As many of his friends and colleagues attested to on the night, Jack sets the benchmark in an industry where personal relationships, in-depth knowledge and a can-do attitude are key elements of success. We are very privileged to count him part of the Thomson Reuters team.”
