Thomson Reuters Health Care Consulting Checklist Helps Accounting Professionals Assess Issues and Opportunities
NEW YORK – 2015 is a key year for health care reform, with regulations taking effect for the first time and requiring strict attention from both businesses and individuals. Thomson Reuters new Checkpoint Learning Health Care Consulting Checklist covers issues relevant to large and small employers as well as individuals.
“Practitioners will find this checklist useful in verifying clients’ compliance, identifying areas of potential tax and insurance savings, and suggesting opportunities for consulting,” said Ken Koskay, senior vice president, Learning Solutions with the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “It provides value to professionals who offer tax planning, tax preparation, or consulting services to businesses and individuals.”
This checklist is designed to be a compliance aid to assist with identifying issues and opportunities with a client’s health care coverage readiness. However, it does not detail every potential issue that may be encountered.
The checklist is available to download at no cost at tax.thomsonreuters.com/healthchecklist.
