Thomson Reuters and Protiviti Partner on Audit and Risk Management Solutions

Expanding the global reach of the Thomson Reuters partnership platform

NEW YORK – Thomson Reuters announced today a strategic partnership agreement for audit and risk-management solutions across Asia with Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm that specializes in risk, advisory and transaction services.

Protiviti will implement Thomson Reuters Auto-Audit solution, which is used by hundreds of organizations around the world to improve the efficiency of their audit processes. Auto-Audit streamlines the internal audit process, creates a better line of communication between audit teams and business divisions, improves audit quality and helps identify emerging risks. To help organizations complete best-practice internal audits, Auto-Audit enables them to store all audit documents in a single, secure database and uses job roles to identify a user’s access level and enforces IDs and security passwords across all audits.

Protiviti will also serve as an implementation partner for the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Risk Manager (ERM). As a comprehensive risk management solution, ERM provides features for risk assessments, loss event tracking, indicator monitoring, tracking of risk mitigating activities, risk quantification and customizable reporting for management and regulators.

Following its initial roll-out in Asia, the partnership may be expanded to cover the Asia-Pacific region and other global markets in the future.

“We’re excited about this partnership, which will provide Thomson Reuters clients with access to Protiviti’s global expertise in governance, risk management and compliance,” said Alfred Lee, Managing Director, ASEAN, Financial and Risk, Thomson Reuters. “It provides a practical solution for clients seeking to successfully manage some of today’s most complex GRC challenges and identify new business opportunities in a rapidly changing market.”

Sidney Lim, Managing Director, Protiviti Southeast Asia, said, “Thomson Reuters’ technology solutions complement our consulting expertise in internal audit and risk management. This partnership with Thomson Reuters offers our clients an integrated solution to meet their audit and risk management needs.”
