Thomson Reuters Solutions Named Finalists for Two SIIA CODiE Awards

NEW YORK – Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of trusted answers for businesses and professionals, today announced that its products are finalists for two 2016 SIIA CODiE Awards.

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) sponsors the CODiE Awards to recognize product excellence. The SIIA announced the 2016 finalists in more than 91 categories covering three areas: software, content, and business technology.

Thomson Reuters was recognized as a finalist in the following categories:

  • Best Content Search & Discovery Solution: Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Global HS
  • Best Financial & Market Data Solution: Thomson Reuters Valuation Navigator

“I am amazed by the level of innovation and creativity of the products that have been selected as this year's CODiE Award finalists. We are happy to recognize them for their great contributions and impact they are making on the software, content and business technology industries,” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.

Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Global HS is an innovative online tool designed to streamline the Harmonized System (HS) classification process for international trade professionals — making it simpler, faster and more efficient.

Thomson Reuters Valuation Navigator makes market and position data more transparent for valuation and risk processes, reducing errors and enhancing insight for the entire enterprise.

Winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony on May 18.
