Thomson Reuters Lipper U.S. Fund Awards 2016 Winners Announced

NEW YORK Thomson Reuters today announced the winners of the Lipper US Fund Awards 2016. The Lipper Fund Awards are part of the Thomson Reuters Awards for Excellence, a global family of awards that celebrates exceptional performance throughout the professional investment community.

The Lipper Fund Award winners were honored on March 22, 2016, at a ceremony in New York City’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. TIAA Investments and Thrivent Mutual Funds collected this year’s top Group Awards. The full list of Group Award winners include:

The Lipper Fund Awards recognizes funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted three-, five-, and ten-year performance, relative to their peers, based on Lipper’s proprietary performance-based methodology. Six Group Awards, plus the coveted Overall Awards, are given to firms with superior performance across asset classes.

Lipper data covers more than 285,000 share classes and over 129,000 funds in 62 markets. It provides the free Lipper Leader ratings for mutual funds registered for sale in over 40 countries.
