New Versions of Case Notebook Suite and LiveNote Stream: Enhancing Litigation Productivity

Eagan, Minn.  Attorneys and other legal professionals can now organize and manage their critical case materials more quickly and effectively with new enhancements to Case Notebook, Case Timeline and LiveNote Stream from Thomson Reuters. These powerful case management software solutions help organize, analyze and share case information, streamlining case preparation workflows.

Case Notebook 4.5 adds new features, including batch importing of descriptions, dates and other key facts with automatic links to source information. Reports can be created and exported with the underlying source documents in a single step. This allows users to easily prepare for depositions by having all evidentiary documents in one place. Case Notebook 4.5 also adds compatibility with Windows Server 2016® and SQL Server 2016®.

Case Timeline 3.0 offers improved integration with Case Notebook. Source links for key facts, such as full-text documents, transcripts, pleadings and research can be exported from Case Notebook. This saves time and ensures accuracy by eliminating the need to manually create links.

LiveNote Stream adds compatibility with tablet devices and a newly redesigned website for viewing streaming sessions, providing greater flexibility and ease in accessing audio, video and text of a deposition securely and in real-time anywhere an Internet connection is available.

“Managing information efficiently and collaboratively is key to effective case preparation,” said Craig Larson, vice president of Productivity Solutions, Thomson Reuters. “Now more than ever, Thomson Reuters provides a suite of litigation solutions that work together in powerful ways to make case management more streamlined and productive. Key information can be quickly and easily shared between applications, or with other team members, leading to more effective case strategy, preparation and case materials.”
