Thomson Reuters obtains the highest rating in the second HRC index Equity MX on LGBT inclusion in the workplace
Mexico City, November 13, 2018 – Thomson Reuters is proud to receive the highest rating in the second HRC Equity MX survey conducted by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) in Mexico, which highlights the policies and business practices related to the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. The certification places Thomson Reuters among the 69 leading employers in LGBT inclusion in Mexico.

The HRC Equity MX 2019 report evaluates the policies and practices related to the inclusion of LGBT persons in the workplace that includes the anti-discrimination protections; the existence of internal diversity and inclusion councils and groups of employees; as well as the public commitment of the company with society and LGBT issues. The efforts of Thomson Reuters to reach all these criteria result in a 100% classification, making this company one of the "Best places to work for LGBT equity" and placing it among the 69 leading employers in LGBT inclusion in Mexico, according to the second edition of the HRC Equity MX index.
