Seth Meyers to Host Thomson Reuters SYNERGY2021 

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, May 21, 2021 – Emmy Award-winning writer and comedian Seth Meyers will join legal professionals from the U.S., Canada, the UK and Europe for the first-ever Thomson Reuters Legal SYNERGY user conference, which will be held June 1-3. The virtual conference will be the premier event for legal professionals to hear from experts about the future of the legal market, as well as learn about the latest trends and experience how tools and data-driven technology can transform the way legal work is done.

Meyers will open the Day One session with a monologue and will welcome attendees on following days with a message, including information about speakers and key features for that day of the conference.

Legal SYNERGY replaces previous customer events hosted by Elite and HighQ, and will offer sessions focused on 3E, ProLaw, eBillingHub, Legal Tracker and HighQ, as well as product sessions and training relating to Westlaw Edge, Practical Law and more. Select sessions highlighting industry trends and topics will include diversity and technology, virtual courts, document automation and artificial intelligence.

The conference will include more than 60 educational sessions to help customers understand how to navigate today's environment, manage their firm or office effectively, and gain a competitive advantage in the legal market. Legal SYNERGY also will offer more than 25 continuing legal education credits for U.S.-based customers, with interesting programming to help them reach their CLE requirements.

But it’s not all work. Christopher Jackson – the original George Washington in the Broadway musical, Hamilton – will host a live discussion with four Hamilton cast members: Miguel Cervantes (Alexander Hamilton), Krystal Joy Brown (Eliza Hamilton), Thayne Jasperson (Samuel Seabury) and Nikki Renée Daniels (Angelica Schuyler). The cast will take questions from the audience and provide musical performances.

Registration is open to both customers and non-customers. Thomson Reuters is offering a preview track that provides access to select keynotes and exhibits for single attendees at no charge. Full conference access includes breakout sessions; CLE courses; entertainment, including host Seth Meyers, a live discussion with Hamilton cast members, and a music experience with SongDivision; as well as keynotes, including remarks from renowned explorer and adventurer, Alison Levine, and futurist Scott Klososky.
