Thomson Reuters announces winners of the annual SYNERGY Awards for best in Corporate Legal, Tax and Accounting industries
DENVER, CO, November 10, 2023 – Thomson Reuters (NYSE/TSX: TRI), a global content and technology company, has announced the 2023 winners of the Awards for Corporate Professionals and the Luca Pacioli Accounting Awards. The winners of the Awards were announced at SYNERGY 2023, the largest annual user conference hosted by Thomson Reuters, which took place November 5-11 in Denver, Colorado.

The Awards for Corporate Professionals recognizes exceptional legal, tax and trade departments and professionals who have added significant value to their organizations by embracing technology and leveraging Thomson Reuters products to maximize effectiveness. This also marked the first year of which SYNERGY attendees had the opportunity to directly participate in voting for the award winners.
The 2023 winners of the Awards for Corporate Professionals are:
- Partner of the Year – Matt Lindskoog, EY
- Legal Innovator of the Year – Sophia Davis, Oracle
- Tax and Trade Innovator of the Year – Lance Canterbury, AutoZone
Also announced at SYNERGY 2023 were the prestigious Luca Pacioli Accounting Awards. The award winners were selected from submissions received by an internal team of professionals at Thomson Reuters. The Luca Pacioli Accounting Awards are named in honor of Luca Pacioli – known as the “father of accounting.”
