Thomson Reuters and Suralink Partner to Connect Client Collaboration with AI-Powered Audit Workflows

TORONTO, September 15 – Thomson Reuters (TSX/Nasdaq: TRI), a global content and technology company, and Suralink, the agentic platform for accounting firms and their clients, today announced a partnership to integrate Suralink with Thomson Reuters CoCounsel Tax, Audit & Accounting and Engagement Manager.

The new integrations are designed to help audit firms connect client collaboration, engagement management, and AI-powered workflows in a more seamless experience, reducing friction between systems and enabling audit professionals to move from client requests to analysis and execution with greater speed and confidence.

As firms increasingly adopt AI and agentic technologies, disconnected workflows remain a significant challenge. Critical client information is often exchanged in one system, managed in another, and analyzed in a third, creating manual handoffs, duplicated effort, and lost context. Thomson Reuters and Suralink are working to eliminate those barriers by creating a more connected flow of information across the audit lifecycle.

The partnership supports Thomson Reuters broader strategy to build a connected professional ecosystem that combines trusted content, workflow technology, and AI with leading platforms firms already rely on every day. The goal is to help firms operate from a connected platform rather than a collection of disconnected tools.

Suralink is used by 800,000 users globally and serves 60% of the top 200 accounting firms. Thomson Reuters customers have increasingly requested deeper connectivity between Suralink and the platforms their teams use to manage engagements, analyze information, and deliver client work. Through the planned integration with Engagement Manager, Suralink's client collaboration and document exchange will be supported directly within Thomson Reuters workflow and binder environments. A separate integration with CoCounsel Tax, Audit & Accounting will bring client-provided information into AI-powered workflows, letting audit professionals use Suralink-collected data without manually moving documents, connecting client collaboration to analysis and engagement.
