Joe Harpaz

Joe Harpaz is the managing director of the corporate market of Tax & Accounting at Thomson Reuters. In this role, Joe leads the ONESOURCE business, the market-leading tax tech cloud platform used by major multinational corporations and the largest global accounting firms.

Joe has wide-ranging business and leadership experience in the tax and accounting industry and has held several senior management positions such as vice president, Office of the President and vice president & general manager of ONESOURCE global tax technology at Thomson Reuters. Joe is an internal champion for innovation at Thomson Reuters and enjoys spending time with business executives around the world to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in finance, accounting, and tax departments. 

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Joe co-founded Immediatech, where he was behind the design of the GoFileRoom solution, a cloud-based solution for mid-market accounting firms and also the foundation of ONESOURCE WorkFlow Manager. Joe has also served on the board of a digital healthcare company. 

A frequent presenter at customer and industry events, Joe is a regular contributor to Forbes, where he analyzes and distills complex regulatory, business and innovation trends to provide useful insights for business leaders. Joe also maintains a regular pulse on the evolving tax landscape and writes about its implications on business.

Joe holds a degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s in finance from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. He is a budding wine enthusiast, a car aficionado, and a fan of fitness and good food.
