Benefits of Thomson Reuters Account

In addition to the new sign-in experience using just 1 email and password for all products, you can recognize these added benefits:
  • An updated two-factor authentication (2FA)
that improves security. Before the migration, ONESOURCE customers had the opportunity to turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA). If you've previously used MFA, users will need to set up 2FA during the migration. We’re adding new and easier options, like phone call, text messages, biometric and hardware tokens, and partnering with Auth0 for our preferred mobile app.
  • 3rd party apps
, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator can be used; however, push notifications to authenticate aren't supported. Manual entry of a 6-digit code is used to authenticate.
  • A simplified sign-in experience
. You’ll only need 1 email and 1 password to access your products and online account. Additionally, all Thomson Reuters account-related email notifications will come from the same sender address: access.info@thomsonreuters.com.
  • Additional security changes
. To help protect your account, we've made changes to additional ONESOURCE account options.
    • Password expiration and lockout policies:
Previously, admins could customize or change account lockout policies. To enhance account security, these are no longer available in the ONESOURCE Administration options.
