Upload new data

Upload data from your local files or ONESOURCE applications.
When you add data to Data Hub, you can choose whether to process the data immediately or save it to process later.
  1. Select
    Data
    from the menu bar.
  2. Select the
    All Uploads
    tab.
  3. Select
    Add Data
    .
  4. To upload data from your files, use drag and drop or
    Browse for File
    .
  5. To upload data from ONESOURCE, choose from the
    Select Source
    dropdown list.
    • Select
      DataFlow
      to upload data from the selected
      Data Name
      of
      Request ID
      filtered by attributes.
    • Select
      Statutory Reporting: Journal Entries — Multi-Region
      to upload data for a specific
      Reporting Entity
      for a selected
      Financial Period
      within the same tenant or different tenants in the same region or different regions.
    • Indirect Tax Determination — Audit Data
      to upload Audit Data records starting at a specific record using a timeframe. The maximum number of records per request is 1,000,000.
    • Tax Provision
      to upload data of a specified
      Data Type
      and
      Dataset
      within an
      Instance
      .
    • Entities
      to upload
      Active
      and
      Disabled
      Entities
      and their 107 attributes from
      Administration
      . The extract is limited to 30,000
      Entities
      and only pulls the latest version of an
      Entity
      .
  6. When you've selected the data for upload, you can choose a
    Year
    and
    Period
    for this data. The defaults are the current year and period 1.
  7. Enter a
    Name
    for the data. This is a required field.
  8. Choose whether to process the data now or later:
    • Select
      Save and Process
      to upload and begin processing immediately. This will take you to a page showing details of the uploaded file. If the upload of the status is
      Awaiting
      or
      Failed
      , you'll go to the
      All Uploads
      tab. 
    • Select
      Save
      to upload the file for processing later. This will open the
      All Uploads
      tab.
You can now view the details of your uploaded data on the
All Uploads
tab, then choose how you want to process it.
