Use tax subcodes

You can use tax subcodes to combine amounts from several accounts into one subtotal in your tax application. This shortens statements and eliminates detail on tax returns. Many firms use these in the Other Deductions area.
Tax subcodes will roll forward from year to year, but they will not go backwards. If you need to do a prior year tax return, you will need to add or import the tax subcodes.
