Create a new NetClient Portal through GoFileRoom's ClientFlow

Your firm can publish documents to a NetClient portal your clients can access using GoFileRoom's ClientFlow. Your clients can also securely upload documents to your firm in this portal. Follow these steps to create a new NetClient portal:
note
These instructions are for creating new NetClient portals. If your client already has one for Remote Payroll or another application, you can link ClientFlow to it.
  1. Sign in to GoFileRoom as an administrator or with an account with privileges that allow you to manage users.
  2. Select
    Administration
    from the GoFileRoom toolbar.
  3. Select
    Manage Users and Groups
    and then go to the
    ClientFlow Users
    tab.
  4. Select a user from the dropdown and then enter their Login and Full Name.
  5. tip
    • The last word entered will be used as the user's last name.
    • The Full Name field has a maximum of 30 characters.
  6. Go to the Add Clients section and then enter the
    Client Name
    and
    Client Number
you want to link to the ClientFlow user. You may select multiple clients.
  7. Select
    ADD
    .
  8. note
This account will only have access to documents the firm publishes for the client(s) you select.
  9. Optional:
If you've set up ClientFlow security groups, you can add your client to one. Select the group and then select add group to make the client a member of that group.
  10. Select
    Save
    .
  11. Your client will receive an email asking them to create a login and register the portal. If your client does not receive the email, have them check their spam folder or choose
    Resend activation email
. When your client logs in to their NetClient portal, the ClientFlow link will be available in the navigation pane.
    note
    • You don't have to wait for the ClientFlow user to register before you publish documents.
    • A NetClient administrator can login to NetFirm to confirm if the portal is unregistered or if a login has been created.
    • A login that uses an "&" or any other special character was likely created in UltraTax CS. GoFileRoom and NetClient CS do not allow special characters in their logins but will work with the logins that have special characters.
The ClientFlow link will be in the navigation pane when your client signs in to their NetClient portal.
