Migrate ScanFlow to another computer

When you replace a ScanFlow scan station computer with a new computer, you'll need to migrate ScanFlow to the new computer.
Follow these steps to migrate a GoFileRoom ScanFlow scan station from one computer to another.
  1. Open Windows
    File Explorer
and go to either of the following locations, depending on your version of Windows:
    • 32-bit —
      C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow\
    • 64-bit —
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow\
  2. Right-click
    license.exe
    and select
    Run as administrator
    from the context menu.
  3. If the
    Please enter your ScanFlow License
box is empty, you'll need to contact GoFileRoom Support and ask them to refresh your license.
  4. On the new computer, configure a supported internet browser to function correctly with GoFileRoom.
  5. Install a supported version of Adobe Acrobat on the new computer.
  6. Test the scanner with Acrobat to make sure it's scanning successfully.
  7. Install the GoFileRoom Add-in and configure ScanFlow (using the refreshed scan station ID) and Upload Documents Service.
You'll need your firm's upload account credentials for Upload Documents Service. If you don't have this information, contact GoFileRoom Support.
If the Upload Documents Service on the new computer is used as an upload server for other users on the network (for example, to upload email messages using the Microsoft Outlook GoFileRoom Add-In) and the new machine name is different from the old machine, the new upload documents share must be configured in the GoFileRoom Administration module under Manage Configurations, on the Locations tab.
