Add a document

  1. Go to the binder where you want to add a document in
    FileRoom
    .
  2. Go to the
    OPTIONS
    column, then select the
    Picklist
    icon on that binder.
  3. Select
    File
    from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the
    File
    window, select the folder where you want to add the document.
  5. Select
    New Document
    .
  6. In the
    Add Documents
    window, select
    Choose File
    .
  7. Enter the following information.
    • Enter a description of the document in
      Description
      .
    • Enter a comment in
      Comment
      .
    • Enter a tracking number in
      Tracking #
      .
  8. If the document is private, mark the
    Private
    checkbox.
  9. Select
    Upload
    .
3000 Copy of Tax Return
: This folder contains the completed copy of the tax return in Adobe Acrobat PDF Format if the return is prepared by SurePrep.
4000 Tax Software Files Prepared by SP
This folder will contain the completed tax application file (except for GoSystem Tax RS) only if the return is prepared by SurePrep.
