Print in SPbinder

Generate DreamWorkpapers (Leadsheet binders only)

Once you complete the return, you can generate DreamWorkpapers (DWP). Select the
Send for Print
 icon  on the SPbinder toolbar.
Alternatively, you can select 
Binder
, then 
Send for Print
.
You can also print DreamWorkpapers from FileRoom. On the 
OPTIONS
 menu, select
Print DreamWorkpapers
 from the dropdown.

Estimated print time

The estimated time required to print the binder displays in the 
Print Setup
 window.

Print set up options

You can generate the DreamWorkpapers PDF and the 2055 DreamWorkpapers Excel Leadsheets file.
Choose to print from the following 2 options:
  • Bookmarks with markups
  • Bookmarks only
Select
Bookmarks with markups
 to print the 2050 DreamWorkpapers PDF with references, annotations, and markups.
You can include or exclude specific note types. Mark the
Notes
 checkbox to print binder notes, then select the options in the dropdown to include in the printed DreamWorkpaper.
Choose the order you want the Leadsheet and Source Document to appear in the PDF file by using the up and down arrow buttons, then select
Print
 to print the binder.
Select
Bookmarks only
 if you want to print a bookmarked DreamWorkpapers without any references, annotations, or markups. You can also mark the checkbox for
Notes
 to print the DreamWorkpapers with notes. Select the required option, then
Print
.
Notes
If you select mark the 
Notes
 checkbox following
Bookmarks only
, the 2050 DreamWorkpapers PDF will include linked notes with red cross-references next to them with the page number of the document they link to.
Sign-off Levels
If you marked the
Sign-off Levels
 checkbox following
Bookmarks only
, the PDF will print with sign-off options at the begin of the PDF.
You have the option to simultaneously print both
Bookmark with markups
 and
Bookmarks only
 DreamWorkpapers. Mark the checkboxes when printing from FileRoom or SPbinder. 

Help

The
Help
 icon provides short descriptions of both available print options.
If you select both
Bookmarks with markups
 and
Bookmarks only
, then both files will print simultaneously.

Print error

If you try to print again from SPbinder, you'll see the following message:
You cannot Print this binder as it is in DWP PDF Printing. Please try again later
.

Download

Once the DreamWorkpapers have been printed, you can select
Download DreamWorkpapers
 to download DreamWorkpapers from the
OPTIONS
 menu in FileRoom.
When you select
Download DreamWorkpapers
, your browser will begin downloading the DreamWorkpapers PDF file. Some browsers may ask for your permission to download the DreamWorkpapers.
When printing DreamWorkpapers, if you selected both
Bookmark with markups
 and
Bookmarks only
 options, you will receive 2 or 3 pop-up notifications to download each file (for example, Bookmark Only, Bookmark with markup, and Excel as the 3rd file).
The Bookmarks tab in the PDF file will include the following categories:
  • Engagement Notes
    : Consists of Notes included in the binder.
  • Source Document Index
    : Contains hyperlinked indexes of all the source documents.
  • Workpaper Index
    : Contains hyperlinked indexes of Leadsheets from SPbinder.
  • Review Status Summary
    : Review the workpapers and source document sheets in the PDF file rather than in SPbinder and keep track of the review.
If the DreamWorkpapers PDF file needs to be regenerated as a result of changes, any pages or fields you have reviewed in the DreamWorkpapers will no longer show as reviewed.
The 2055 DreamWorkpaper Excel file contains the Leadsheets in an Excel workbook. Each Leadsheet has a separate worksheet within the Excel workbook. The Excel file can be edited in Excel, but like the DreamWorkpapers PDF file, if you make a change in SPbinder, the Excel Leadsheets are updated when you regenerate the DWP print files. Making the changes in Excel will only update the Excel file and not the PDF file or SPbinder.

Print error

You will get the following message when printing with blank references or blank fields:
Please enter data for all references placed on source documents before printing the binder to PDF.
Solution
: Find the blank references or fields in
REVIEW TREE
Blank Field(s)
, select the blank field, then enter the information from the source document or delete the field if it was erroneously added.
