Search client records in client management

Using
Search
on the
Client Management
screen, you can search all client records by the following attributes:
  • Client's first name
  • Client's last name
  • SP Client ID
  • Tax Client ID
  • Office Location
  • Spouse First Name
  • Spouse Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Owner
  • Custom field (if applicable)
Search results appear as you enter a search term in the
SEARCH CLIENT LIST
field.
You can also narrow down your search results by using the
Filters
feature to target specific types of clients. For example, you can set Filters to search only for clients from a specific
Office Location
with a specific
Owner
.
Filters limit the number of clients that can be searched. You will see the
Sorry, there are no matching clients
message appear if no clients were found. You can either remove the filter or search for clients that match the search results and the filters.
You can go through the
Filter Categories
and set the filter that will help you narrow down your search results.
If the filter list is too long or you can't find the filter you're looking for, use the
SEARCH
feature to narrow down the options. Enter the name of the filter and select it from the search results.
You can also sort search results according to a specific column.
