Troubleshooting: No Client Records Found

You can use search results and filters together to narrow a large group of clients down to your exact preference. However, if no clients match your current search and/or filters criteria then you will see the
Sorry, there are no matching clients
message appear on the
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
screen.

Search/Filters

Issue
: Search and/or Filters have reduced the number of clients that can be matched.
Solution
: You can either remove or modify your search or filters to view more clients. You may not see clients for filtered results if the search results do not match any clients in the filtered list. Clear the search or filter to find clients that match.
Example: Your filter may be set to only show clients associated with your office location. However, the client you are searching for maybe from another office location. You will be able to search for that client by removing the filter that limits search to your office location only.
To view clients, either modify your search or clear the search field.
You can also expand your client list by removing filters that are currently set. If you have multiple filters set then you can try removing one filter at a time until you are able to see the desired clients.

7216 Restrictions

Issue
: Users with 7216 Consent access restrictions will also see this screen if the firm has no TaxCaddy clients with 7216 Consent. Only applicable for domains with 7216 Consent feature enabled.
Solution
: 7216 restricted users will only see clients that have given 7216 Consent. If a 7216 consent has been received from a client then another user with access to the Client Profile can update the Client Profile to indicate 7216 Consent as received.
