Summary Panel

The Summary Panel shows you an overview of client information. The Summary Panel shows the taxpayer's name, ID, photo, the selected tax year, the number of unread messages from the client, number of requested items provided by the client, total number of documents uploaded to the client’s account, and the current status of the questionnaire.

Tax Year

Client Profile is organized according to each tax year. Tax Year is displayed on the left of the Summary Panel. Select the
TAX YEAR
dropdown and choose another year to switch the Client Profile to that tax year.

Client Information

Taxpayer's name, phase, status, and photo appear next to the tax year. The client's photo will be replaced with their initials if they haven't uploaded a photo to their profile.
A client's account and tax return information can be viewed using the More Information feature next to their name. Select
More Information
to view the associated client's account information and information regarding the currently selected tax return.
You can select
Follow
to follow/add the client to your
Overview
screen. If there are no access restrictions (i.e. 7216 restricted, office location, etc.) then you can follow a client without being an owner or an assigned member.
You can view a client's connection status on their client profile. This status will reflect the one displayed in
Client Management
(for example,
Connected
,
Not Invited
, or
Not Enrolled
), saving the time it would take to locate it there.
Phase
Each phase below the taxpayer's name represents the current stage of tax preparation. You can also use Views on the
Overview
screen for an in-depth look.
  • Gather Tax Docs
    - Default starting phase.
  • Provide Info
    - Triggers if any review, sign, or questionnaire requests are sent.
  • Review and File
