Administrators: Flag a batch of users

After you've tested the initial upgrade with a few user profiles, you should export a spreadsheet of user profiles and use that to flag a batch of accounts for the Thomson Reuters Account Upgrade.
note
Turning on
Create users in Thomson Reuters Account
makes it so new users have to use the Thomson Reuters Account to sign in. It also disables the
Login Method
on the
User Details
page.
  1. Go to the
    Thomson Reuters Account Upgrade
    screen.
  2. Mark the user profiles you'd like to export.
  3. Select
    Export
    .
  4. Go to your
    Notifications Queue
    and download the
    UserImportUpgradeTemplate
    spreadsheet.
  5. Open the spreadsheet and enter an upgrade option for each active user.
    note
Select one of the following options:
    • Thomson Reuters Account - Self Upgrade Requested
    • Thomson Reuters Account - Upgrade Mandated
  6. Save your modified sheet and go to the
    Thomson Reuters Account Upgrade
    screen.
  7. Select
    Import Users for Upgrade
and select your modified spreadsheet from the place you saved it to.
  8. Your view refreshes and you'll get a confirmation message if the import was successful. You can verify the success by reviewing the information on the page for the updates you made.
    Check Upgrade Progress
Administrators can monitor progress directly on the Thomson Reuters Upgrade page.
    • Each user now has an Upgrade Status field that shows whether they are Non-Thomson Reuters Account, Self Upgrade Requested, Mandate Upgrade Requested, In Progress, Completed or Failed.
    • If an upgrade fails due to invalid or inactive email addresses, you’ll see it flagged here.
    important
For migration to be considered complete, only active profiles need to be upgraded. Inactive/Disabled profiles are left as-is and do not impact the success of the migration.
