Litify connector

Follow these steps to connect Litify and CoCounsel.

Prerequisites

  • Active Litify account
  • Docrio integration is turned on with an API key
  • Minimum Salesforce API version: v59.0
  • System administrator account in Litify

Add the application in the Litify control center

Make sure you're signed in to your Litify Salesforce instance as a system administrator.
  1. Open the
    Setup
    menu, search for
    App Manager
    , and select
    New External Client App
    .
  2. Complete the following fields:
    1. External Client App Name:
      Enter any name (for example, CoCounsel).
    2. API Name:
      Auto-generated.
    3. Contact Email:
      Enter your contact email address.
  3. Configure OAuth settings under
    API (Enable OAuth Settings)
    :
    1. Turn on
      OAuth Settings
      .
    2. Enter the following
      Callback URL
      : https://authrelay.syncly.io
    3. Add the following OAuth scopes:
      • Manage user data via API (api)
      • Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
    4. Under
      Flow Enablement
      , add
      Enable Client Credential Flow
      .
  4. Configure security settings:
    1. Require secret for Web Server Flow
    2. Require secret for Refresh Token Flow
    3. Refresh Token Rotation
  5. Select
    Save
    to create your external app.
  6. Retrieve the client credentials:
    1. Search for
      External Client App Manager
      in
      Setup
      .
    2. Select the
      External client app
      you created.
    3. Open the
      Settings
      tab and expand
      OAuth
      .
    4. Select
      Consumer Key and Secret
      .
    5. Copy both values. You'll use them in the following steps.

Add the Litify connector in CoCounsel

Make sure you're signed in to the CoCounsel application as an administrator.
  1. Go to
    Admin settings
    Integrations
    DMS integrations via Syncly
    .
  2. Select
    New Integration
    .
  3. Select
    Litify
    as your
    Connector
    .
  4. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Name:
      Enter a name to identify the connector, such as Litify.
    2. Consumer ID:
      Enter the Consumer Key from the previous step.
    3. Secret Key:
      Enter the Consumer Secret from the previous step.
    4. Server Address:
      Enter your Litify instance URL (for example, https://litify1.lightning.force.com/).
    5. Docrio API Key:
      Enter the key provided during installation. You can request a key at Litify Central.
    6. Leave all other fields as their defaults.
  5. Select
    Add connector
    . The connector is added with an active state.
When you add the connector, it becomes available for all users to view in their list of external Document Management System (DMS) connections. Each user goes through the authorization process the 1st time they sign in.

We recommend that administrators authorize as soon as you add the connector. This way, you can test the connection before other people begin using it.
