Use variables in custom prompts

Add flexible placeholders to prompts that users fill in each time, eliminating the need to create separate prompts for similar tasks.
Variables are blank fields in your prompt that users fill in each time they use it. Instead of creating separate prompts for similar tasks, you create 1 prompt with variables that change.
For example, instead of creating separate prompts for drafting letters to different people, you create 1 prompt with a
{{recipient name}}
variable. Users fill in a different name each time they use the prompt.

Variable types

CoCounsel offers 3 types of variables:
  • Manual Entry
    : Users type their own text (names, dates, amounts, custom questions).
  • Multiple Choice
