Document versions

Uploading new versions

Only users with unrestricted access to the generated document will have the ability to upload a new version of the generated document. If you think you should be able to upload a new document version but are unable to, please check with your System Administrator.
To upload a new version of a document:
  1. Select the required document.
  2. Click the Actions Actions menu. menu and select Upload new version.

  3. In the opened panel, drag and drop or browse for a new version of the document and enter a
    Comment
    , if required.
  4. Click
    Upload
    .
Once a new document has been uploaded, a Manually Edited flag will display next to the document name.

If you generate a new version of the document after a manually edited document has been uploaded, these changes will be overwritten and the status of the document will change to Merge Manual Edits. You will be required to reapply the manual edits if necessary.
New document versions can be uploaded and manual edits can be reapplied directly with Contract Express Negotiator version 3.0 onwards (see the Contract Express Negotiator manual for more details).

Viewing versions

To view the versions of a document, click Action icon. button, and select the
View Versions
option. In the opened panel, you can download any version of the document.

  2. Users will no longer be able to download previous versions of a generated document once it has been approved.
