Download and upload answers in Questionnaire

Downloading Answers

Users can download answer sets during the questionnaire and when the questionnaire is complete using one of the following ways:
  • When working with the Questionnaire, click the three ellipses and select
    Download Answers
    option.
    Downloading answers from the document details page.
  • From the document details page, click on three ellipses and select
    Download Answers
    option.
    Downloading answers during the questionnaire.
The answers are stored in an .xml file and can be saved and renamed if required, for later use.

If
Download Answers
option is not available on the document details page, check whether
Download & Upload Answers
action is enabled in
Admin > Features
for the required document status (see Managing actions availability based on documents’ statuses).

Uploading Answers

If a user has an answer set for a document they wish to use, it can be uploaded using one of the following ways:
  • When working with the Questionnaire, click
    Upload Answers
    option and drag & drop or browse for the .xml file with answers.
    Uploading answers during the questionnaire.
  • From the document details page, click on three ellipses and select
    Upload Answers
    option and drag & drop or browse for the .xml file with answers.

The existing answers will be populated in the questionnaire, which the user can then edit if necessary.

The answer files are based on the names of the variables in the Contract Express templates, thus, answer sets can be shared between differing templates provided the underlying variable names are consistent.
If
Upload Answers
option is not available on the document details page, check whether
Download & Upload Answers
action is enabled in
Admin > Features
for the required document status (see section Managing actions availability based on documents’ statuses).
