Use Legal Tracker terminology as much as possible.
The AI Assistant understands Legal Tracker terms such as

. It also recognizes synonyms, but using these terms helps the assistant interpret your requests more accurately.

Ask 1 question at a time

Ask single, focused questions rather than combining multiple questions.

Use data filters

Narrow your results by including criteria like date ranges, matter status, or firm.
For example, “List all closed matters for Q1 2024 in the regulatory practice group.”

Follow up for clarification

If the initial response isn’t what you need, ask for additional details.
For example, “Can you break that down by matter type?”

Include additional fields and order

You can specify additional fields to include and the specific order in which you want to see the results.
For example, "List the open maters in regulatory org unit. Include the matter type, substantive law and LCP. Order by LCP."

Limitations

  • A maximum of 25 records are included in the response by default; however, you can can request up to 100 records.
  • Amounts are displayed in the user’s preferred currency. When the response includes data from a single invoice, the amounts are displayed in the invoice currency. Matter currency is not supported at this point.

Most matter profile data points can be queried. The matter name provided can be partial.
