Convert summary charts of accounts
Export the data
- In General Ledger Manager Classic, go toSetup, thenSummary Charts of Accounts.
- Select the option toExportthe data. The export process will generate a.csvfile containing 4 columns:
- Number
- Description
- TRC
- TCC
Import the data
- Go toAdministration,Company Info, thenAccounts.
- Open the summary Chart of Accounts tab.
- SelectAdd Chart.
- Select the Chart of Accounts you want to import and selectImport.
- Use the wizard to upload your CSV file, then follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the upload.
- When prompted to map fields, assign:
- Map theNumberfield from your CSV file to theAccount Codein the system.
- Map theDescriptionfrom your CSV file to theAccount Namein the system.
- SetStart from Row = 2to 2 to skip the header row during the import process.
- Follow the remaining steps in the wizard to complete the import process.
- Review the imported data to ensure accuracy.
