View Descriptions in Another Language

The ONESOURCE Global Trade Management ECN/Dual Use Content module provides ECN/ML Regulation Lists descriptions in the native language of the publishing country and in English.
Default language
: if an English version of an ECN/ML list exists, the system sets the default language to English.
To change the language
:
Follow these steps if you need descriptions in a different language:
  1. Open the
    Search
     fields.
  2. Use the
    Description/Control/Notes Culture
     drop-down menu to choose a language.
The screen refreshes with the descriptions in the selected language.

Availability of Languages for ECN Descriptions

The number of languages available for ECN descriptions depends on the publishing country.
The system allows you to add various types of languages, including multiple languages for one list and different versions of the same language. For example, in Hong Kong, you can access both Chinese (Modern) and Chinese (Traditional).

European Union ECN/ML Lists

For European Union ECN/ML Lists, descriptions are available in more than 20 languages.
You can view the list in your selected language and navigate the search screen as you would in the default mode (English).

View ECN Details

Select
View Details
 under the ECN number with the native language description.
This action will open the ECN in a separate window. All parameters and reference information associated with the ECN will be displayed in English only.
