ECN Regulation List Updates Screen

The
ECN Regulation List Updates
 screen provides a list of:
  • All ECN/Dual Use Lists within your current ONESOURCE Global Trade Content subscription.
  • The last ten (10) times each list within the subscription was updated.
  • The ECN Numbers impacted by the aforementioned updates.
This screen can be opened by choosing
ECN Regulation List Updates
 from the
Content
 menu.
Once this screen is selected, all ECN/Dual Use Lists within your subscription will display in a grid. The grid columns include:
  • Regulation Name
  • Organization
  • Country
  • Update Status
  • Last Source Update Date
  • Government Link
Update Status
 indicates which process the ECN/Dual Use List is currently undergoing through the Global Trade Content team. The potential statuses include:
Statuses
Description
Updates Complete
The most recent updates have processed and are available to view in the system.
Updates In-Process
Global Trade Content team is currently updating this ECN list.
Validation In-Process
Global Trade Content is currently validating this ECN list.
Last Source Update Date
 indicates the last date the regulation updated. Note that sometimes a governing agency announces updates for a certain regulation but does not release the actual updates until later.
Clicking the arrow to the left of
Regulation Name
 displays a grid showing the last ten (10) times an ECN/Dual Use list updated.
This information is displayed in a grid format with the following columns:

Description
Source Date
The date the government organization announced updates to the ECN/Dual Use List.
Start Date
The date the ONESOURCE Global Trade Content team started updates to the regulation list. Sometimes, government organizations announce updates to regulation lists before they take effect or before they release all updated information to the public.
End Date
The date the ONESOURCE Global Trade Content team finished updates to the regulation list.
Number of Records Updated
The number of records impacted by the update.
Click the arrow to the left of the
Source Date
 column to display the specific ECN Number, Description, and the nature of the update in the
Update
 column.
