DPS Regulation List Updates: Monitoring List Activity

The
DPS Regulation List Updates
 screen provides a listing of all DPS lists you are presently subscribed to, as well as the last ten times each list was updated. This information includes the date the list was updated by the source, as well as the start and end dates for the ONESOURCE update.
This screen can be accessed by selecting
DPS Regulation List Updates
 from the DPS menu.
Within the
Regulation List Updates
 screen is a maintenance grid, which displays all DPS regulation lists within your subscription. This grid contains the following columns:
Grid Columns
Description
Description/Controls/ Notes Culture
A drop-down menu box above the grid that allows you to change the displayed language within the Regulation List Updates screen.
Regulation Name
The name of the regulation list.
Organization
The organization publishing the regulation list.
Update Status
This field indicates which process the DPS regulation list is currently undergoing within ONESOURCE Global Trade Content. Potential statuses include:
  • Updates Complete – The most recent updates have been processed and are available to view in the system
  • Updates In-Process – Global Trade Content is currently in the process of updating this regulation list
  • Validation In-Process – Global Trade Content is currently in the process of validating this regulation list
Last Source Update Date
A date stamp of the last time the regulation list was updated. It is important to note that some government agencies announce updates for certain regulations but do not release the actual updates until later.
Government Link
A hyperlink to the official source website for the regulation list.
REVIEWING PREVIOUS UPDATES ON A REGULATION LIST
To review the update history of a DPS regulation list:
  1. Click a regulation list from the grid.
  2. Click the expansion arrow to the left of the regulation name.
Clicking the expansion arrow opens a sub-table containing the following information for the specified list:

Source Date
The date the government organization announced the update(s) to the regulation list.
Start Date
The date
Global Trade Content
 started the updates to the regulation list. It is important to note that some government organizations announce regulation list updates before they take effect or all updated information has been released.
End Date
The date
Global Trade Content
 finished the updates to the regulation list.
Number of Records Updated
The total number of records updated within the regulation list.
