Add Override Value
To set an override, choose a product from the grid to override. Once this product is identified, click
Add Override Value
.
Clicking
Add Override Value
will open a pop-up containing the fields required to complete the override. In the Field Name
field, choose a product number source.In the
Value
field, enter the value as it currently appears prior to correction.In the
Override Value
field, enter the new value that should appear instead of the current value. Please note that the Value
field for each entry override record must be unique, but the Override Value
field does not have the same requirement.Insert a comment and then click
Insert
. It is important to note that comments are mandatory. 
Once an override is set up and saved, the system will remove the validation error from the
Entry Verification
screen and change the Validation Error status to Closed
. Going forward, every time the incorrect (overridden) value is entered by the Customs Broker on an entry, ONESOURCE Entry Verification will automatically override the incorrect value.Related Content
