Creating Other Message Types
Apart from the E_EXP_DAT (Export Data) message described above, the ONESOURCE ATLAS Export system allows you to create and transmit the following types of messages to Customs:

DEXPCC (E_EXP_INV): Request for Invalidation/Cancelation of Export
A request for invalidation or cancelation of Export is sent to Customs to cancel or invalidate a previously transmitted declaration.

This operation is only available if the declaration is accepted (E_EXP_STA-110,130,131,141,132,142).
To create a request for invalidation or cancelation of Export.
- Open theDE Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration.
- ClickInvalidation Request.

- Enter required data. If a field has an asterisk (*), it is a required field and cannot be left blank.

- ClickSave and validateto run a validation process to ensure the declaration adheres to Customs rules and regulations. Errors will be displayed in theValidationstab.If any errors occur, do the following:Go to the location listed in theValidationstab and make the change to fix what appeared in theWarningcolumn.TheWarningcolumn will provide a definition for the error. TheLocationcolumn will define which tab and field contained the error.ClickSave and validateto revalidate.
- After all validation errors have been resolved and the declaration is complete, theTransmitbutton becomes available.
- ClickTransmitto send the complete declaration to Customs.

You will be redirected to the header tab of the E_EXP_DAT declaration.
DEXPAC (E_EXP_AMD): Supplement to the Export Declaration
A supplement to the Export declaration is sent to Customs when a declarant needs to make changes to a transmitted declaration for approval.

This operation is only available if the declaration is accepted (E_EXP_STA-110,130,131,141,132,142).
To create a supplement to the Export declaration.
- Open theDE Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration.
- ClickAmendment.

- Enter required data. If a field has an asterisk (*), it is a required field and cannot be left blank.

- ClickSave and validateto run a validation process to ensure the declaration adheres to Customs rules and regulations. Errors will be displayed in theValidationstab.If any errors occur, do the following:Go to the location listed in the “Validations” tab and make the change to fix what appeared in the “Warning” column.The “Warning” column will provide a definition for the error. The “Location” column will define which tab and field contained the error.
- ClickSave and validateto revalidate.
- After all validation errors have been resolved and the declaration is complete, theTransmitbutton becomes available.
- ClickTransmitto send the complete declaration to Customs.

DEXPED (E_EXP_ENT): Complementary/Replacement Declaration for Export
You can send a complementary or replacement declaration for Export as a supplement to an incomplete declaration. Upon transmitting this message, any previously transmitted incomplete information will be replaced with the information contained in the supplement message.

This operation is only available if the declaration is accepted (E_EXP_STA-131 and 141).
To create a complementary or replacement declaration for Export.
- Open theATLAS Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration.
- ClickSupplementary/replacement.

- Enter required data. If a field has an asterisk (*), it is a required field and cannot be left blank.

- ClickSave and validateto save the entered information and run a validation process to ensure the declaration adheres to Customs rules and regulations. If any errors occur, they will appear in theValidationstab.TheLocationcolumn will define which tab and field contained the error.TheWarningcolumn will provide a definition for the error.To resolve an error, go to the location listed in theValidationstab and make the change to fix what appeared in theWarningcolumn. ClickSave and validateto revalidate.
- After all validation errors have been resolved and the declaration is complete, theTransmitbutton becomes available.
- ClickTransmitto send the complete declaration to Customs.

DEXPXB (E_EXP_EXT): Confirmation of Exit
You can send a confirmation of exit to inform Customs about goods that have left Customs territory.

This operation is only available if the declaration is in release of export (E_EXP_REL) or follow up (E_EXP_FUP) message
To create a Confirmation of Exit:
- Open theATLAS Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration.
- ClickExit request.

- Enter required data. If a field has an asterisk (*), it is a required field and cannot be left blank.

- ClickSave and validate.importantThe confirmation of exit message type has no validations running in the background.
- After required information has been entered, theTransmitbutton becomes available. ClickTransmitto send the confirmation of exit to Customs.

DEXPXB (E_EXQ_QUE): Send inquiry about status of a declaration
The message is used by the participant to transmit an inquiry about the status of an export process from the point of view of the customs office of export and exit.

This operation is only available after receiving a E_EXP_STA-110 response.
- Open theATLAS Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration.
- ClickSend Inquiry.
The E_EXQ_QUE message will be transmitted to custom, and you will be redirected to the header tab of the Export declaration.

In response we receive E_EXQ_STA which is visible under transmission history for the respective Export declaration.
DEZDDC (E_DOC_DAT): Transmit documents, previous papers, transport documents and statements
This message is used by the participant to respond to queries from a dispatch, export or exit customs office or to proactively provide documents on a process to the responsible customs office. A proactive transmission of the message is only possible as part of the shipping transfer or re-export and as part of the export transfer.
If a customs office has requested the transmission of documents and/or requests statements on a situation as part of a transfer, monitoring, settlement or re-export by means of a "request for documents, previous papers, transport documents and statements" (E_DOC_REQ), the participant has a one-off opportunity to respond to this request by means of a "transmission of documents, preliminary papers, transport documents and statements" (E_DOC_DAT).
Proactive Submission
To send pending documentation after receiving the acceptance for the export declaration.
- Open theATLAS Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration which is in the acceptance state.
- ClickDocumentation.

The E_DOC_DAT screen will load.

Not Proactive Submission
To send pending documentation after receiving the acceptance for the export declaration, we receive from custom E_DOC_REQ.
- Open theATLAS Export Declarationscreen.
- Use theFind Declarationfield to locate the desired declaration which has request message (E_DOC_REQ) from custom.
- ClickDocumentation.

The E_DOC_DAT screen will load.
