Selecting Simplified Declarations
A Supplementary Declaration contains additional information about a Simplified Declaration and its associated goods items.
To associate a Simplified Declaration to the Supplementary Declaration, click
Select/Remove Declaration
.
Clicking
Select/Remove Declaration
will open the Select Declaration
pop-up, which contains all Simplified Declarations in the Assessed
state that have not been supplemented in another Supplementary Declaration.Review the list of available Simplified Declarations to determine which declaration(s) should be added to the Supplementary Declaration. These declarations can be easily searched by using the filters on the top of each column.
To select a Simplified Declaration, click its associated
Select
link on the far left.
The
Requested Procedure (SAD Box 37.1)
column contains a value based on the first two characters of the selected Simplified Declaration’s “Procedure Code (SAD Box 37)” field.If the Supplementary Declaration has multiple Simplified Declarations selected, the
Procedure Code (SAD Box 37)
field value must be the same for all of the selected Simplified Declarations.After a Simplified Declaration has been selected, the
Select Declaration
pop-up will automatically filter to display only Simplified Declarations with the same Requested Procedure (SAD Box 37.1)
value as the selected Simplified Declaration.
To remove a selected Simplified Declaration, click
Remove
.
After one or more related Simplified Declarations have been selected, the
Select Declaration
pop-up can be closed. Closing this pop-up will return the user to the ATLAS Supplementary Import Declaration
screen.To view the list of Simplified Declarations attached to the Supplementary Declaration, open the
Declarations
tab. 
Viewing Additional Declaration Detail
To view the details of a declaration, choose a declaration on the
Declarations
tab and click its corresponding drop-down arrow.
The additional information will appear in a sub-grid.

Modifying Existing Declaration’s Header Details
To modify the header details of an existing declaration, choose a declaration on the
Declarations
tab and click its Edit
button.
Clicking
Edit
will open the Header (Simplified)
pop-up, which contains all existing details for the declaration. Gray boxes are read-only and cannot be modified (according to Customs specifications). White boxes can be modified.
Make any necessary changes to the writeable (white) fields, and then click
Save
at the bottom of the pop-up.
