Validation Warnings
Validation warnings are used to alert you when the provided declaration data does not comply with the rules and regulation of German Customs. This data is located within the
Validation Warnings
tab.The following data is in the below columns:
Column | Information |
|---|---|
Customs Reference Number | The Customs-provided reference number for the declaration. This column is especially helpful for determining which Simplified Declaration within a Supplementary Declaration has the error. |
Location | The screen, tab, and field where the error is located. If the validation warning is on the goods item level, the item number will be provided inside brackets [] . This number is theItem Number Supplementary field. |
Warning | The cause for the error, as well as how to resolve the error so the field value will adhere to Customs rules and regulations. |
A declaration cannot be transmitted to Customs until all validation warnings have been resolved. The
Transmit
button will only become available after all corrections have been made, saved, and validated.Related Content
