Button | Definition |

New | If clicked, the system will generate a brand-new declaration. Complete all required fields and enter all necessary information prior to transmitting to Customs. |
Generate EAD | If clicked, the system will generate the Exit Accompanying Document after Customs sends a release of clearance. |
Make Amendment | If clicked, you will be redirected to the declaration amendment screen to share additional details to the declaration and then you can transmit it. |
Invalidate | If clicked, the system will cancel the declaration to Customs. |
SAD Emergency | If clicked, you will download a PDF file with your declaration data so you can directly send it to Customs, in case of any system instability. For more information, refer to theSAD Emergencysection of this user guide. |
Save and Validate | If clicked, ONESOURCE DMS 4 Export will save all changes to the in-progress declaration and validate the contents. |
Transmit | If clicked, the system will transmit the declaration to Customs, provided (1) all required fields are populated and (2) the contents of the declaration pass system validation. |
Discard | If clicked, the system will remove the declaration. |
Exit | If clicked, the system will exit the DMS 4 Export Declaration screen and take you to the ONESOURCE home page. |
Goods Presentation Notification | If clicked, the system will send a Good Presentation Message to Customs. |
Create Alternate Proof | If clicked, the system will provide an alternate proof of exit. Use this in cases where the carrier does not provide any proof of exit. |
Provide Supporting Documents | If clicked, the system will create a new PRD message, allowing you to upload supporting documents. |
Make Amendment | If clicked, you can make edit/modify an existing declaration. |
Supplementary Declaration | If clicked, the system will create a supplementary declaration. Use this feature if the declaration was incomplete. |
