Standard Data Validations
tab displays validations created by ONESOURCE as ‘out-of-the-box’ validation options. These validations take place as data is imported into Global Trade Visibility. The tab contains the following columns to help clients navigate the updates:Standard Data Validations - Columns | Description |

Conditions | Criteria that must be met to trigger a data validation. |
Validation Group | Used for reporting the types of validations seen. Validation groups are created during implementation. |
Validation Name | Short description of validation. Validation Name will be used to report on the types of validations seen. |
Validation Message | Detailed description of validation. Validation Message will display in the detailed validation reports to assist with research validations. |
Validation Description | Description provided by ONESOURCE to let users evaluate the purpose of the standard validation. |
Type | Validations can be Soft or Hard validations.
Soft: System “warning”. Still allows a record into GTV to be used in reports. Hard: System “error”. Holds & will not allow the record to be inserted into GTV. |
Active | Indicates whether or not an update is actively running. A checked box indicates the update is active. An unchecked box indicates the update is inactive. |
