AES Management (Transmitting Batch Declarations)

While the
AES Transmission
 screen allows you to process Automated Export System (AES) filings one at a time, the
AES Management
 screen supports the process of managing AES filings en masse. This screen is ideal for companies with large volumes of export shipments.
Once a shipment passes all validations in the automated Export Management processing, its AES record is automatically created and appears within the
AES Management
 grid. From there, you can select multiple AES records and consolidate them together into a single Shipment Reference Number (SRN) if desired.
From the grid on
AES Management
, high-level information about each filing can be seen, such as:
  • The ITN
  • Whether or not a response has been received from US Census
  • Whether or not the filing was rejected
To view the complete AES Transmission information for an SRN:
  1. Choose an SRN from the grid.
  2. Click its corresponding link in the
    Shipment Ref Num
     column.
Clicking this link will open a second browser tab with the
AES Transmission
 screen open and the selected SRN’s information pre-populated into the fields. The
