Evaluate AES Exemptions

To view a shipment’s AES exemptions, click

Clicking
Evaluate AES Exemptions
 will open the
Evaluate AES
 pop-up. This pop-up can be used to review and determine whether or not a shipment is exempt from electronic reporting to AES.
  • If a validation section has a green check mark, the shipment indicates no reason that filing is required for that section and will be collapsed by default.
  • If a validation section has a yellow caution sign, the shipment may have a reason to file for that section (e.g. a Denied Party Screening hit on the BIS Unverified List). Review the content of this section to determine whether the rule is applicable for the shipment.
  • If a validation section has a red X sign, the shipment contains one or more reasons why AES submission is required for that section.
Each section can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the applicable header.
