Document Image System (DIS)
Document Image System (DIS) is an initiative to allow the Trade to electronically transmit files (documents, images, etc.) and metadata describing the file to United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
DIS submission may be sent by a Trade partner in response to a Docs Required message from CBP or as an
UNSOLICITED
