Tool Tips within DIS Submissions
As you move through the DIS questionnaire, tool tips (?) will be visible on the screen. Each tool tip provides you with some information regarding what the question relates to in regard to the DIS submission. A sample list of tool tip information is provided below:

Do you know the CBP Request type? | The CBP request in response to the document being sent. This could be same as the ACE Action Number. |
Do you know the CBP Request Date? | The Date Time of the CBP request in response to the document being sent |
CBP Request ID | The CBP request in response to the document being sent. Use UNSOLICITED when sending documents prior to receiving a request for documents. Use UNKNOWN when sending documents and no Action ID was provided in the request for documents. |
Upload Document | These are the preferred file types for DIS transactions: PDF, GIF, PNG, JPG, JPEG Other acceptable file types include the following, but will make it more difficult for CBP to view the document: DOC, DOCX, PPT, BMP |
Entry Number | This information is required when the submitted document supports entry or entry summary. If you are submitting a CF214 for review, this field can be left blank. |
FTZAdmissionNBR | This field is required when submitting documents to support an FTZ admission. |
ITN | This field is required only when submitting documents sends ITN data. |
ITNReference Number | This field is optional. |
