Action Bar

The “
Action Bar
” is a list of buttons available at the top of the “Edit Security Filing” screen. Each button is explained in more detail in the sections below:

New

To
create
a new Security
Filing
, click “New”.
Clicking
“New” will open the “Edit Security Filing” screen, complete with blank data entry fields.
Enter
all information for the Security Filing, and then
click
“Save”. The Reference Number will set when the information is saved.

Apply Template

Applying a template to a Security Filing pre-populates some or all fields based upon pre-saved values within the template. Templates can dramatically cut the amount of time and errors in comparison to manual data entry. They standardize Security Filings based upon this pre-determined data.
To
apply
a saved template to a new Security Filing,
click
“Apply Template”.
Clicking
“Apply Template” will open a pop-up containing a list of all available templates within the partner.
Click
on the “Template” drop-down and
select
a template to use. Once a template is selected,
click
“OK” to apply.

Save

To
save
a new Security Filing or modifications made to an existing Security Filing,
click
“Save”.
All data that was on the “Edit Security Filing” as of the time of “Save” being clicked will then be saved to the Security Filing.

Save As Template

Applying a template to a Security Filing pre-populates some or all fields based upon pre-saved values within the template. Templates can dramatically cut the amount of time and errors in comparison to manual data entry. They standardize Security Filings based upon this pre-determined data.

Enter
a name for the template, and then
click
“Ok”.
Once “Ok” is clicked, all entered data currently on the “Edit Security Filing” screen will be saved as a template. This template will then become available for use the next time the user clicks “Apply Template” for a new Security Filing.

Delete

delete
a Security Filing,

“Delete” at the top of the “Edit Security Filing” screen.
Clicking
“Delete” will open a pop-up, requesting confirmation that the user wants to
delete
the Security Filing.

a note to explain the reason why the Security Filing must be deleted, and then
click
“Submit and Delete”.
Once “Submit and Delete” is clicked, a “Delete” message will be sent to CBP, requesting that the Security Filing be deleted. Deleted records remain stored within ONESOURCE ISF with an indication that the Security Filing was forwarded to CBP for deletion.

Choose
a deleted Security Filing from the grid to retransmit to CBP. Once a filing has been chosen,

The current filing record will display any data modified since the last transmission.
Once a report type is selected, the pop-up will close and the Security Filing will print.

the “Edit Security Filing” screen,

“Exit”.
If clicked, the user will leave the “Edit Security Filing” screen without saving changes. The same result can be achieved by navigating to another screen from the Main Menu.
