Additional General Information
Clicking
the expansion arrow to the right of “(Show…)” will display further information above the tabs. The “Status” fields on the left are generated by the system and show the current status of the Security Filing and whether or not it has been validated and/or transmitted to CBP. If either of these are the case, the specific date will show next to the particular status indicator.

On the right of the screen, the system indicates if the filing action for the open Security Filing will be to “ADD” a new Security Filing with CBP or “REPLACE” an existing Security Filing upon the next transmission. The system also indicates if there is a CBP status of “Accepted” or “Rejected” after the Security Filing has been transmitted.

The remainder of the data on the “Edit Security Filing” screen is completed by the user in the tabs below.
- If the field has an asterisk (*) beside it, then it is a mandatory field and must be completed. If this field is left empty, the Security Filing will not be accepted by CBP.
- Bolded fields with no asterisks are not required for the Security Filing to be accepted but will be submitted to CBP if completed.
- Non-bolded fields with no asterisks are not required for the Security Filing to be accepted and will not be submitted to CBP.
Each tab is covered in more detail in the below sections.
