Auto-Transmit
Trigger transactions can be used to allow for the automatic transmission of Security Filings to CBP.
Upon the implementation of data import, the system can be configured to allow for auto-transmission under three situations, independent of one another:
Auto-transmission situations | Description |
|---|---|
Add (A) | Import of a trigger transaction triggers the auto-transmission of a new transaction. |
Replace (R) | Import of a trigger transaction previously imported into the system. New information will trigger an auto-transmission of the replaced transaction. |
Delete (D) | Import of a trigger transaction indicates filing should be deleted. Deletion will trigger an auto-transmission of a delete action for the Security Filing. |
The configuration will allow for actions to trigger independently (e.g. the system is set to auto-transmit the “Add” action, but not “Replace” and “Delete”).
Notification e-mails can be set up to indicate when a Security Filing is transmitted, accepted, rejected, etc. so a user can respond to the situation accordingly.
