Data Export
Processes beyond ISF filing can be streamlined, manual entry errors can be reduced, and the visibility of inbound products can be enhanced by transmitting ONESOURCE ISF data to third parties or other internal systems.
For example, sending product HS and Country of Origin data electronically to the Customs broker can facilitate the entry process.
ISF status and product level data can be transmitted to the ERP system to give visibility to inbound shipments and to initiate the receipt of the product. The system also enables the user to control the “what, when, and how” for the interfaced data.
Users can choose to interface:
- “Current” ISF data with the latest system updates
- Only sent data that has been transmitted to CBP
ISF can be configured to automatically trigger export data when the following responses are received from CBP:
- Accepted
- Rejected
- Accepted with Warning
- Bill On File
The system can also be configured to only export data when both the “Accepted” and the “Bill on File” replies have been received by ONESOURCE ISF.
Along with the CBP responses and identifying numbers, the system can be configured to send the contents of the ISF transaction itself (i.e. the Bill of Lading, the parties, the items and all the data on the “Edit” screen).
The system can be configured to send only the CBP responses (along with the identifying number), only the actual transactional data, or both.
